Abundant Life Uganda is a faith-based charitable organisation registered in Northern Ireland, which aims to alleviate poverty by sustainably supporting families in Uganda. We do this through income generating courses and grants, education sponsorships as well as community outreach and development projects.
After volunteering in Uganda for several years with a variety of organisations it challenged us to start a small scale charitable trust run by volunteers where your entire donation reaches the point of need directly.
We have a team of teachers, leaders and businessmen on our Northern Ireland team working closely with our team of teachers and social workers in Kampala to ensure we are working in an effective, respectful and sustainable way.
1. Promote the Good News of the Christian message and the positive impact that a relationship between an individual and the Father, Son and Holy Spirit can have on one’s life.
2. Provide sustainable relief of poverty. Primarily through income generating courses and grants to allow families to become self- sufficient and build financial capacity.
3. Advance education through, primary, secondary and tertiary level sponsorships, teacher training workshops and school renovation projects.
4. Provide health, hygiene and medical support through educational workshops and medical grants for urgent cases.
We want to show the love of God and bring abundant life to families living in poverty in Kampala.
